The accident occurred around 2:15 a.m. Sunday in a curve leading to the access ramp to Highway 20 West.

“According to our initial information, the driver would have lost control of the vehicle in the curve before making one or more barrels, indicated Sergeant Catherine Bernard, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).

The driver, we are talking about a 48-year-old man, he unfortunately died at the scene of the collision. His passenger, also 48 years old, was transported to the hospital center for serious injuries.

No other vehicle was involved.
