Call to the community

“I saw that this morning on the news, then, given that I live there, it’s funny to hear the street at home; you never hear about it here,” testified a resident.

The mayor of Saint-Donat, Joé Deslauriers, invited the community to watch the surroundings, but to remain vigilant.

He recommended not venturing into the woods to avoid the tracks disappearing or the volunteers getting lost.

“We have an extremely dedicated community here in Saint-Donat,” he said.
