First private property of the Lord of Manville, the mill became a cooperative in 1924. The Moulin CORNILLE has always been known for the quality of its oil with its particular taste, now called “black fruity”; its aromas are obtained thanks to its very traditional production method including a stage of maturation of the olives for 4 to 5 days, and some manufacturing secrets.

With 370,000 trees, cultivated on 2,500 hectares in regular orchards, the valley of Les Baux de Provence offers the highest density of olive trees in the south of France.
Three controlled designations of origin (AOC) have been awarded to the Baux de Provence valley: for olive oil, for broken olives and for black olives.
