France 3 broadcasts this Saturday, October 22 the TV movie Murders in Albi (2020) with among others Catherine Allegret in the role of Mylène Bouvier, the mother of Enzo Lemaire played by Simon Hormière-Marquié.
If Catherine Allégret is known to be at the same time, the daughter of Simone Signoret (ex-wife of Yves Montand and died in 1985), the ex-wife of Jean-Pierre Castaldi and the mother of Benjamin Castaldi, she is married to another actor, Maurice Vaudaux with whom she has a daughter Clémentine born in 1984. This 73-year-old actor is known to the general public for having played the role of commissioner Waltz in the detective series Navaro with Roger Hanin from 1989 to 2007. It is not entirely by chance that his wife Catherine Allégret also played in this series where she played the bartender Ginou from 1989 to 1995 then from 1999 to 2007.
Fusion in life as in fiction
Ten years later, in 2019, Catherine Allégret and her husband Maurice Vaudaux found themselves in the TF1 soap opera, tomorrow belongs to us and in which the 76-year-old actress plays the lead role of Jeanne Bellanger-Dumontel. Her husband plays Yvan Josse, one of Jeanne’s last lovers. In an interview with TV 7 Days in December 2019, Benjamin Castaldi’s mother returned to the filming conditions with her husband: “The hardest part was turning on the edge of the lake with a mistral at 100 km/hour. We never felt so cold in our lives, we could barely articulate.” She also reminisced about her years Navaro with her husband : “We were a real family. At each shoot, we found the same make-up artists, the same hairdressers…“
In a relationship for almost 40 years, Catherine Allégret and Maurice Vaudaux form a very close couple, in life as in fiction. A couple who had to move mountains as entrusted to the first to our colleagues from Gala in 2015 : “We often toured together, as in Navaro. When we’re not filming, we’ve been together 24 hours a day… For thirty-five years… When a couple resists this, they can do anything !“
