The Prime Minister specified on Friday that the priority files concerned six themes of daily life: getting around, housing, eating, producing, consuming and preserving our ecosystems.

Mobility, housing, consumption… According to him, the government is embarking on an ecology “complex”. Elisabeth Borne presented, Friday, October 21 at La Recyclerie in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, space dedicated to eco-responsibility, the roadmap for the “France green nation” project. It includes 22 projects aimed at accelerate the ecological transition.
Accompanied by several ministers, including Agnès Pannier-Runacher (Energy Transition) and Christophe Béchu (Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion), the Prime Minister spoke ahead of a National Refoundation Council on climate and biodiversity.
Without presenting new actions, concrete or symbolic, the head of government said “to assume” an ecology “responsibility, where we refuse simplism and we tell the French (…) that the solutions are complex”identifying “levers” from “indicator series”what “may appear complex or abstract”.
Elisabeth Borne therefore presented 22 priority projects which revolve around six themes of daily life: getting around, housing, eating, producing, consuming and preserving our ecosystems (soils, forests, water, oceans ). The Prime Minister notably recalled that the first electric vehicles at 100 euros per month would be available at the beginning of 2024.
“The greener France we want is a fairer France”insisted the head of government. “It is obviously not up to our compatriots in a situation of fuel poverty to make additional efforts. Conversely, those who emit the most and who have the most means must also be those who support our transition the most”, she added.
