A baby, at what cost?

Babies born in Montreal to single Catholic mothers sold to Jewish families in Canada and the United States in the 1940s and 1950s. Continuing her reflection on the taboo of infertility, artist Heidi Barkun explores the links between this market noir and the very place that hosts his most recent exhibition: Projet Casa, a former medical clinic, then a tourist lodge, which has become a space for contemporary art.
