On Tuesday, Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne accused the opposition of “blocking”justifying the use of a 49.3 which has every chance of being drawn on Wednesday in front of the deputies.
Stella Dupont points to the parliamentary opposition groups which, according to her, should “have a responsible attitude”. When these oppositions “vote against something, they should propose an alternative”. She notices “a blocking situation”.
“When the oppositions indicate that they will not vote for the budget despite the dialogue with Bercy, despite a fairly serene debate in the hemicycle, when they refuse the budgetary trajectory, we say to ourselves that, despite agreements in the hemicycle, we cannot don’t see how we can get to the end of this debate.”

MP Renaissance, who voted for the MoDem amendment on the taxation of superdividends, believes that on “the amendments debated in the hemicycle, from the moment they were widely supported on different benches, it is interesting that they are included in the text which will be submitted to 49.3”.
She “regrets, on a personal basis, the current position” of the government, which does not intend to keep the amendment on the taxation of superdividends. Stella Dupont notes “that the top executives of large groups significantly increase their remuneration” as well as “very significant increases in the payment of dividends in a context where we need to invest in companies in the ecological transition”. She asserts that “our globalized and liberal economy also needs regulation and regulation can go through taxation”.
