October 17 is not a date that Denis Brogniart really appreciates… Indeed, this day represents the anniversary date of his father who left him and his brothers 30 years ago. The years go by but the host of Koh Lanta don’t forget anything. She misses her dad and will always miss her. To show him that he had not forgotten him, and will never forget him, he wanted to pay him a vibrant tribute on his Instagram account.
The one who has just released his book, An almost exemplary soldier, posted a nostalgic snapshot, in black and white, in which he appeared to be an accomplice in the company of his brothers François and Gilles, near his father. A dad who looks exactly like the host of Koh Lanta and Internet users did not fail to note it. The majority also paid tribute to the father of their favorite animator by writing in particular: “May your father rest in peace. Like father like son, he was sure he was a good man, like what you are today: a great man with a lot of values”, “Sweet thoughts”, ” I sympathize with Dennis.

But others also noted the family resemblance. Some even wondered if it was not Denis Brogniart himself in the center of the photo. And others challenged the host to find out where he was on the picture. Both he and his brothers look alike like two drops of water and it is difficult to recognize the 55-year-old man when he was still just a child.
For his part, the one who makes the weather rain or shine on the desert islands which bring together many adventurers, was satisfied with a short caption, but filled with emotion, to pay homage to one of the most important men of his life : “My father would have been 80 today! We have missed you so much for 30 years. @brogniart.gilles @franzbrogniart”.
