The MHSC has decided to temporarily lay off Olivier Dall’Oglio, as coach of the professional team.

“The interim will be provided by Romain Pitau at least until the truce”, specifies Montpellier, on the sidelines of a joint press conference by the interim coach and president Laurent Nicollin. Eleventh in Ligue 1 with 12 points, MHSC have lost five of their last six league games. The last Montpellier loss to Lens (1-0) on Saturday was fatal to Olivier Dall’Oglio.
Arrived in Hérault in 2021 to succeed Michel Der Zakarian, the 58-year-old French technician led Montpellier to thirteenth place last season. It was Olivier Dall’Oglio’s third experience on a bench in Ligue 1 after Dijon (2012-2018) and Brest (2019-2021).
