Gunshots were heard Saturday morning in the borough of Montreal East.
Around 11:50 a.m., a call was made to 911 regarding shots fired at the intersection of Dubé Avenue and Victoria Street in the Montreal East borough.
“A shot could have been fired following a conflict that would have degenerated between several people in an alley near the intersection,” said Mariane Allaire Morin, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal. (SPVM).
A casing was found on the ground, but no suspects have been arrested so far. The incident did not cause any injuries, said the SPVM.
The scene has been secured, and the investigation is ongoing.
