Paris FC: change is now?

Seeing ASSE in Ligue 2 a few months ago, no one imagined it. Seeing ASSE relegated from Ligue 2 after eleven days, no one really expected either. The implementation of the game project advocated by coach Laurent Batlles takes time. Much of the time. The errors identified for several matches (defensive animation, concentration, starts…) are still there and they lead the Saint-Etienne staff to imagine changes to reverse the dynamic. Follower of 3-5-2, Laurent Batlles should put away his preferential system against Paris FC for another scheme.

The return of a four-man defense?

Tried without much success at the start of the season, a four-man defense should be put in place against the Parisians, the system of three central defenders and the men who compose it having not provided enough guarantees. A titular player since the start of the season should pay the price: Jimmy Giraudon. Léo Pétrot still absent, it is Mickael Nadé who could make his return as a central hinge alongside Anthony Briançon. On the sides, we should find Abdoulaye Bakayoko and Yvann Maçon. Sergi Palencia, holder at Sochaux, was not retained.

A reinforced and very technical environment?

Strong point of ASSE for several weeks, the midfield should be reinforced. On the bench against Sochaux, Benjamin Bouchouari should occupy a post of recuperator with Thomas Monconduit. Victor Lobry, Dylan Chambost and Mathieu Cafaro would take care of the offensive animation.

Wadji alone at the forefront?

In the absence of Jean-Philippe Krasso (suspended for 3 games), the Senegalese Ibrahima Wadji should play alone at the forefront of the Saint-Etienne attack. Lenny Pintor, or even the young Jibril Othman, could replace him.

The probable composition of ASSE against Paris FC

Green – Bakayoko, Briançon (c), Nadé, Maçon – Monconduit, Bouchouari – Chambost, Cafaro, Lobry – Wadji.

Bench: Dreyer, Giraudon, G.Silva, Mouton, Moueffek, Pintor, Othman
