The famous 85-year-old British actress was ennobled on Thursday October 13, 2022 by Williamthe Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace. “You can’t compare being part of an investiture at Buckingham Palace with any other accomplishment, whatever it is. It’s unique,” she told the agency PA News Agency.
The title of “Dame”, the highest honor of the Order of the British Empire, was awarded to her for services to the dramatic arts. Vanessa Redgrave is given the same honors as her father, Sir Michael Redgrave, also an actor.
