Two major night construction sites begin this Tuesday, October 11, on two major roads in Moselle. On the nights of Tuesday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Thursday, and Thursday to Friday, the A31 and the RN52 will be cut all night.
Resurfacing on the A31
The first project concerns the A31, between Fey and Metz-Nord : the Direst will carry out the rehabilitation of the asphalt. During the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, the motorway will be cut from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. in the Nancy-Thionville direction. You will have to take the eastern bypass of Metz (RN431), possibly as far as the Hauconcourt cross if you go up to Amnéville, la Fensch or Thionville.
Same thing but in the downward direction, in the nights from Wednesday to Thursday and from Thursday to Friday, from Metz-Nord to Fey, at the same times. You will be diverted by the mixed bridge, the boulevard de Trèves, the Borny expressway and finally the eastern bypass of Metz, to join the A31 at Fey.
This work will be carried out at night, circulation will therefore be restored during the dayfrom 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Marange-Silvange tunnel under maintenance
Same scenario on the RN 52, also for the next three nights, from Tuesday October 11 in the evening, to Friday October 14 in the morning. Maintenance operations must be carried out in the new Marange-Silvange tunnel
: the fast lane will therefore be in both directions, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., between Rombas and Marange-Silvange. Diversions will be put in place via Amnéville and the road that runs along Walygator in Maizières les Metz (the D47 and D112f).
