“Science is not a subject that only concerns scientists”

The climate awakening is the theme of the 2022 Science Festival, launched on October 7, when the summer was hot and fires ravaged the country. “We have the feeling that this global warming which remained a little diffuse in the minds of the French is becoming a little more palpable”remarks Jamy Gourmaud, journalist and sponsor of the Fête de la Science.

The question of sobriety is posed for this year. “Pedagogy remains important. Until we understand why we do things, what the impacts are, this support will be difficult to obtain”notes the journalist.

Workshops will take place for the Fête de la Science. How to motivate? “The Science Festival will appeal to people who love science. But it must also appeal to the simply curious, those who dare not go. Science is not a subject that concerns only scientists, it is a subject of general culture”concludes Jamy Gourmaud.
