To cross-check the data related to this allowance, offered to Ukrainian refugees even if they are not strictly speaking asylum seekers, the authorities also observed “a loss in temporary protection renewals”the unprecedented regime granted by the Europeans to these displaced persons and renewable every six months.
A sharp slowdown in arrivals
“This corresponds to what we have seen since the beginning of this crisis, namely that some of the displaced Ukrainians arrive with the objective of returning to their country as soon as possible, while others are going back and forth. between France and Ukraine”said Didier Leschi.
