(Paris) The Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz still reigns on the ATP ranking published on Monday ahead of his elder Rafael Nadal, while the American Taylor Fritz climbs to 8e square.

Alcaraz is yet to win a match on the circuit as the world No.1, a rank he reached following his success at the US Open on September 11.
The 19-year-old prodigy was indeed beaten last Tuesday for his return in the first round of the Astana tournament by Belgian David Goffin.
Like last week, Alcaraz is ahead of his compatriot and eldest of nearly 17 years, Rafael Nadal.
According to a Spanish radio, “Rafa” became a father for the first time on Saturday, his companion Maria Perello having given birth to a boy, information which has not yet been officially confirmed.
Nadal is the only player to have beaten in 2022 Novak Djokovic, who won the 90 on Sundaye title of his career by dominating in the final of the Astana tournament the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The Serb lost his N.1 throne this season due to his refusal to be vaccinated against COVID-19, which prevented him from playing in the Australian and United States Open.
Despite his defeat in the final, Tsitsipas, now 5egained a place at the expense of the German Alexander Zverev.
Taylor Fritz obtains for his part the best ranking of his career, at 8e world rank, climbing three places after his success at the Tokyo tournament.
His victim in the final in the Japanese capital, his compatriot Frances Tiafoe, also won the best ranking of his career, at 17e place, up two ranks.
Canadian Denis Shapovalov returns to the top 20 following his appearance in the semi-finals at the Japan Open.
