(Las Vegas) Tom Kim turned in 67 (under-5) and took advantage of Patrick Cantlay’s collapse to win the Shriners Children’s Open on Sunday.

Kim became the first player since Tiger Woods in 1996 to win twice on the PGA Tour before the age of 21. The 20-year-old South Korean triumphed at the Wyndham Championship in August to earn his circuit card and he has been hatched ever since.
Kim did, however, have help from Cantlay, who could have reached No. 2 in the world by winning at TPC Summerlin.
Both golfers traded birdies on the back nine and started the 18e par hole. Cantlay sent his tee shot wide out of the fairway and he eventually committed a triple bogey.
Cantlay shot 69 and tied for second with Matthew NeSmith (66), three shots behind Kim.
Kim became the first player since JT Poston in 2019 to win a PGA Tour without committing a bogey. He finished the event with a cumulative score of minus-24.
Tom Hoge completed the course in 64 shots and tied for fourth with Mito Pereira (67).
Adam Hadwin shot 68 and held on to the top 10 to be the highest-ranked Canadian in the tournament. Fellow countrymen Taylor Pendrith (69) and Adam Svensson (73) took the 44 respectivelye and 69e rungs.
