The shopping center Beaulieu of Nantes, which includes 110 stores, will expand to accommodate in particular the ready to wear Primark. In a statement released on Wednesday, management announces that the store is scheduled to open at the end of 2023. It will cover more than 4,000 square meters and will have two levels. The shopping center will therefore initiate extension works to be able to welcome the Irish brand, they will be done in three phases.
Two years of work
The first phase begins at the end of November, a new square and an access footbridge will be created at the crossroads of rue Gaëtan Rondeau. Once this equipment is completed in July 2022, the expansion works of the shopping center will begin in earnest, an additional 4,300 square meters are planned. They will bring the area of the site to 37,000 square meters. Primark will occupy the newly furnished space as well as the 2,300 square meters left vacant since the La Grande Récrée store closed in 2018.
