Aurelie Casau has been a happy biscuit maker since the beginning of her adventure in Bilhères-en Ossau in her little lab, she prepares her biscuits with local products found at the markets where she can be found, like David Lafaille’s organic pumpkin in Saucède.
Aurelie Casau has been an Artisan Gourmand since 2018, just a few months after its opening. The label represents defenders of local and quality, that’s good.
We tasted an absolutely delicious pumpkin cake, soft and above all very low in sugar, validated by Célestin, Aurelie’s son, who tests everything. Restaurant owners and municipalities order dry biscuits such as Elodie and Thibault from Maison Lavillete in Bielle who fell in love with the mini hazelnut cookies or even the hazelnut meringues with Addis and Laurent from L’escapade in Laruns and the vanilla shortbread biscuits in the shape of heart for Eva and Hans from le Petite Faim in Bielle.
While waiting to taste Les Gourmandise’s Ossaloises and meet Aurelie Casau, meet on Saturday October 8 at Arudy on the market, on Sunday October 16 for the Arudy autumn fair all day and at the Laruns market on Saturday October 22 with a stand in fall colors.
