A long-term investigation by the Indre gendarmes led to the arrest of three people suspected of being involved in Levroux’s fatal accident
, last February. They indicate it this Wednesday on their Facebook page.
Two dead in a race between two cars
On February 13, the roads of Indre were again bereaved: at the end of the afternoon, at the exit of Levroux, a car left the road on the D956 in the direction of Valençay. The 31-year-old front passenger is died instantlythe driver, rushed to hospital in a state of emergency, succumbed to his injuries a few days later.
Following this accident, the Vatan brigade community, in charge of the investigation, notably called for witnesses
to find in particular the driver of a black BMW.
After several months of investigation, the military established that the accident was caused by a chase between the damaged car and another vehicle.
Three youths arrested
On September 22, the Issoudun gendarmes, with the help of their colleagues from La Châtre, arrested three young people, believed to have been in the second car at the time of the accident. Placed in police custody, they will be summoned before the court, all three for no assistance to the person in dangerthe driver also for endangering the life of others.
