IN IMAGES – Pink October: Two Miss France in Guéret to support women with breast cancer

They saw them on TV, and now in real life! Six patients with breast cancer or in remission were able to meet Nathalie Marquay, miss France 1987, and Vaimalama Chaves, miss France 2019came with their association The Good Fairies
, who precisely accompany the women who go through this difficult and painful ordeal. Alongside a socio-beautician, the two personalities were able to discuss with the patients, and offer them a treatment session, to help them feel better about themselves, to better accept themselves, even though they had to undergoing chemotherapy or having a breast removed.

A new operation as part of Pink October, which resonates particularly for Nathalie Marquay, who herself lived through and beat leukemia in 1998, and lost her husband, Jean-Pierre Pernaut, to lung cancer on March 2. She therefore widely shared her experience with patients.

The misses were able to see their popularity in Creuse, multiplying the photos with passers-by happy to see the misses. A ribbon was symbolically cut, inaugurating the arrival of the Good Fairies’ caravan

Thursday, October 6, the mobile caravan of the Good Fairies will be in Déols, near Châteauroux. Vaimalama Chaves will be present, and Nathalie Marquay will give way to Clémence Botino, miss France 2020.
