A former graphic designer, Katia Chaullet left Alsace to work in her studio in Aigrefeuille d’Aunis in Charente-Maritime. Today she makes several ranges of tableware. Stoneware and porcelain are worked to give life to unique, functional and decorative pieces. Terre d’Aunis was born from an encounter with the land, a crush and an ambition: to make unique, fine, light and resistant tableware.
Stoneware (purchased in powder form) and porcelain are poured, modelled, molded before going into the oven to then be enamelled. The decorations are most often made with “slip”
