No image could have been unveiled in Japan when the Beatles made their only appearance in 1966. This film has finally been revealed to the general public.

For the first time, the only images from the Beatles’ only Japan tour in 1966 have been made public. It is a historic document for their fans and a historic victory. We can thus see them in kimono when they get off the plane in Tokyo (Japan). These silent and unpublished images were filmed by the Japanese police 56 years ago. At the time, the Beatles were a global phenomenon. Their arrival had therefore worried the authorities. 35,000 police had been mobilized.

There was no overflow during the five concerts of British pop stars in the land of the rising sun. Strange detail, on the images of the film, the faces of the public are blurred. It is a decision of the Japanese justice, 50 years after the concerts, for reasons of respect for private life. These images are also among the last of the Beatles in concert. After this world tour, tired by the hysteria of the fans, they concentrate on their studio albums.
