In Ukraine, was wheat stolen to be exported illegally to third countries?
On a July satellite image, decrypted by American public television, it is possible to see a Syrian cargo ship in Feodosia (Ukraine), in Crimea under Russian control, loading thousands of tons of flour. A loading made in total secrecy, with the radio transponder switched off. A few days later, in the port of Tripoli in Lebanon, where the ship unloaded its goods, the customs declaration states that the cargo comes from the port of Kavkaz, in Russia. However, the boat’s hull is too deep for the port in question.
It would be cereals not Russian, but stolen from Ukraine, which arrive in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, or even Syria. Three dozen ships making dozens of voyages have been spotted. A huge smuggling operation that could be a war crime. The amount of this traffic could amount to more than 530 million dollars. Moscow called these accusations false and baseless.
