The 29 candidates for the election Miss France 2022 have been on Reunion Island for almost a week for their preparatory trip. Kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing or even a visit to the Kelonia marine turtle care center were on the program. They also took advantage of this paradisiacal setting to be immortalized in swimsuits. Photos eagerly awaited, like every year.
It is the photographer Benjamin Decoin who had the honor of staging them. The regional Misses appear in colorful models (red, orange, gold, etc.) one-piece or two-piece with the flora of Reunion Island as a backdrop.
They also took the pose at the swimming pool of the Ness hotel in La Saline les Bains for the group photo in swimsuits. “This is the most anticipated and most watched photo by people. We have several imperatives to achieve it: highlight all the candidates in a setting that represents the island of Reunion while finding a balance between blondes and brunettes and the size of each“, Sylvie Tellier explained to our colleagues from TVMag. The tallest of them, Miss Côte d’Azur (1m85) and Miss Tahiti (1m81) were therefore placed at the ends.
