The fishermen of the Côte Bleue, in Marseilles, work with the researchers of the marine park for the preservation of the species. This exemplary collaboration is rewarded with a label.
In Caro, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, Hervé Gout-Vernier and his crew left the port on Monday October 3. They leave to take up the longline, ten kilometers from a reserve in the Côte Bleue marine park. At the end of the hook, they come under tuna and swordfish. They keep in mind the right reflexes to preserve the resource. Hervé Gout-Vernier reminds us that certain species must be released in order to adopt fishing that respects the environment and protected species.

The Côte Bleue marine park was awarded an international label four years ago.
