The return : On the edge of the world
This documentary series directed by Samian paints the portrait of singular characters who have consciously chosen to adopt a different lifestyle, sometimes as a hermit in the heart of a forest without running water or electricity, sometimes in the middle of the African bush. The Algonquin rapper begins this 2e 10-episode season with Juan Manuel Cifuentes, aka Iratxo, a Spanish rocker who, to soothe his anxiety, recently hung up his microphone. Since then, he has taken care of a shelter for abandoned or abused animals with an area equivalent to eight soccer fields. “This man has found his raison d’etre,” said Samian at the end of the hour.

The roll of the dice: I Used to Be Famous
I Used to Be Famous (I used to be famous) is not a great movie. But between two hyper-dramatic series, this British comedy-drama allows you to breathe a little. Inspired by a short film released in 2015, it tells the story of Vince (Ed Skrein), a singer who, 20 years after finding success in a boy band, befriends Stevie (Leo Long), a particularly gifted autistic young drummer who could allow him to regain lost glory. Filled with good feelings, this feature film recalls at times About A Boy (Like a boy), this little gem released in 2002 starring Hugh Grant and Nicolas Hoult.
