A motorcyclist is between life and death after an accident, followed by a possible hit-and-run, which closed a portion of Highway 13 on Saturday.
The event occurred shortly before 11 a.m., at the height of the 32e Avenue in Lachine.

“There was an impact between a vehicle and a motorcyclist,” said Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesperson Stéphane Tremblay. The vehicle did not remain on the spot, it is considered a hit and run. […] A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital in critical condition. We fear for his life.”

Collision reconstruction specialists and SQ major crime investigators were at the scene of the crash around 2 p.m. Saturday. The police were still looking for the driver of the vehicle.
