Hervé Mons, MOF (best worker in France) cheesemaker-affineur

Cheese maker and affineur since the 1960s, the family Mons began to sell its cheeses on the markets of Roanne.

In 1964, the small family business created the Mons cheese dairy at Halles Diderot in Roanne and specialized in the ripening of its cheeses.

In October 2020, the son, Hervé Mons, made a commitment to the AOP de la Fourme de Montbrison with the acquisition of the Hautes Chaumes cheese dairy in Sauvain.

Our guest, Hervé Mons, cheesemaker-affineur, MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France), proudly communicates to us his passion for this cheese of excellence, particularly appreciated by consumers from the Loire, whose notoriety today goes beyond our borders.
