It’s already been three weeks since “Dancing with the Stars” made its big comeback for an unprecedented 12 season. This year again, the production has redoubled its efforts to offer a sizeable cast to the fans of the program. It is thus Eva Queen, Billy Crawford, Léa Elui, Florent Peyre or even Amandine Petit who are trying their luck this time to win the coveted trophy.
You should know that the personalities are approached by the production to participate, they must nevertheless pass a casting and some are not retained!
Two iconic animators turn down a big check
This Friday, September 30, 2022, we learn that two famous hosts almost participated in the TF1 show. They are Pascal Bataille and Laurent Fontaine! The two hosts known for having presented the program “There’s only the truth that counts” on the first channel have indeed been approached by the production.
“We were offered it three years ago, just out of our anger” explained Laurent Fontaine during a recent interview with Jordan De Luxe. He specifies that the production also wanted them to dance together on the floor. Not thrilled, the two animators refused the offer: “They were giving us 80,000 euros each at the time. It was not possible. We refused just because of the money” he concluded.
