The two former police officers and the “lobbyist” placed in police custody on Monday at the premises of the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI) were referred this Thursday morning for their presentation to an investigating judge, franceinfo learned from from the Paris prosecutor’s office, confirming information from the Parisian. They are suspected of having taken advantage of their networks to deliver confidential information to various institutions, including Paris Saint-Germain.
Judicial information was opened on Thursday for “help with irregular entry or stay”, “forgery and use of forgery”, “corruption”, “influence peddling”, “misappropriation of the purpose of a processing of personal data”, “complicity and concealment”, “breach of professional secrecy”, “complicity and concealment”, “fraudulent access to data processing”, “theft”, and “compromise of National Defense secrecy”.
In this sprawling file, the investigators suspect in particular a former police officer from the DGSI and another police officer, on availability, of having asked former colleagues to consult police files, for the benefit of the PSG, in order to learn about certain employees, and even to use their networks to obtain information on legal proceedings, such as that targeting the striker Neymar for a slap in the face to a Rennes supporter in the final of the Coupe de France.
