Five Mayenne clubs are committed to the fifth round of the French Football Cup. The draw took place on Wednesday September 28 in Angers.
Château-Gontier facing Saumur
The smallest Mayenne representative, Montenay inherited the regional petit Tom Thumb. The D1 club (district first division) will receive Angers SCA which evolves in D2. But mistrust, the Angevins qualified by leaving Mulsanne-Téloché, who plays in Regional 1 (3-2).
It will be even harder for theOld of Château-Gontier (Regional 1). The Castrogontériens inherit Saumur, a promoted National 2 who occupies the top of the pavement, 2nd tied at one point behind the leader, Angers Sco B.
Third Mayenne team to receive in the 5th round: Meral-Cosse (Regional 3). And the march will be high for the southern Mayenne club, opposed to the Vendeans of Sables-d’Olonne, a Regional 1 team.
The last two qualified Mayenne teams will have to travel. the Mayenne Stadium (Regional 1) in Basse-Goulaine (44) which evolves at the same level. between (Regional 3) will travel to Sarthe to face Spay (Regional 2).
The matches of this 5th round will take place on the weekend of October 8 and 9, 2022.
