Years that his fans have been waiting for him. We finally had to wait until September 16 to discover Christophe Willem’s new baby: Panorama. An intimate and sincere album in which the winner The New Star, several years ago, wanted to reconnect with his audience, a bit disappointed by his latest projects. And his bet seems to have worked as evidenced by the excellent figures posted since the release of his album. The opportunity for Slimane’s friend to go around the TV sets and the media to say a little more about his work.
Recently, he gave an interview to 50 Minutes Inside. An interview in which the artist revealed his playlist and the sounds that mattered to him. Whether it’s songs that made him want to become a singer, or songs that played a key role at certain times in his life. Christophe Willem also took the opportunity to admit that he was a big fan of Madonna. However, he seems a little disappointed by the international artist lately as evidenced by the tackle he addressed to him.

“Well a little Madonna (which is part of her playlist: editor’s note)”he first confessed in front of the camera before letting go in all frankness: “Well, right now, she’s still having trouble!”. Not enough to break the love he has for the star, however. On the other hand, it is not the interpreter of Like a Virgin who played an important role in the life of Christophe Willem.
Indeed, he confided to our colleagues that Reality by Richard Sanderson, was the piece that had enabled him to discover that he had a real talent… not recognized by his friends at the time. “I think it’s the music of the Boom. Because in fact I was very, very bad at the piano (…) So I asked all my friends if they recognized”he remembers at first before adding, with a lot of humor: “and them, they said to me ‘well no we don’t recognize’. And when I started to sing they said to me ‘Ah but yes, it’s the music of La Boum! So thanks to this song, it’s like that that I started to sing and I swear to you that it’s true”.
