This influx is explained in particular by the organization on Friday, September 30 of the 18th congress of the far-right party, which will see the election of a new president. Jordan Bardella and Louis Alliot, candidates for the succession of Marine Le Pen, clash behind the scenes to take the lead of the party.
To be able to vote, the militants were obliged to adhere before September 26 to the party. In order to encourage them, the RN has set up “a special congress rate” at 20 euros, against 50 euros previously.
