Three teenagers arrested for a shooting that targeted a young person in Repentigny

Three teenagers and an 18-year-old were arrested Tuesday by Repentigny police in connection with an attempted murder of a teenager that occurred on July 6 in Repentigny.

That day, in Langelier Park, the youngster was hit by several bullets. Seriously injured, he still has serious consequences, the police said.

Since the beginning of the day, they have been carrying out searches and arrests in connection with this attempted murder, assisted by those of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).

A 17-year-old teenager and an 18-year-old young man were arrested in Repentigny. In Montreal, the alleged 17-year-old shooter was also arrested, as was a 16-year-old girl. A handgun was seized along with ammunition.

Those arrested will be questioned and some are expected to appear in youth court at the Joliette courthouse during the day.
