This is revealed by the “solidarity calculator”, which is used to estimate the impact of a QS government on our annual income.

The family allowance is financial assistance that the government pays to all eligible families with dependent children under the age of 18 residing with them.

The amount of this allowance varies from one family to another, depending on the number of children, the family income and the marital status of the beneficiaries.

The increase in the family allowance does not appear in the financial framework that Québec solidaire presented on September 9. The party has therefore not yet specified how much this measure would cost the Quebec state.
