Ready for the 2022 edition of War on Screen, in Châlons-en-Champagne?

At the beginning of October, the city-prefecture will host, as it has for several years already, a new edition of War on Screen, an international film festival dedicated to war films. A unique vision of war, through the eyes of committed filmmakers.

Contrary to what one might think, the Marne is a land of cinema and it proves it every year, thanks to the teams who set up their cameras there for filming, but also thanks to the film festivals that take place there.

A committed cinema…

Among these, the international war film festival War on Screenwhose the 2022 edition is already the tenth ! A committed and exciting festival, which gives voice to filmmakers denouncing, in many of their films, the absurdity of war and the need for peace in the world. But, in reality, War on Screen is much more than a festivalsince, as the press release available on the official War on Screen website so clearly states, it allows the development of a policy of support for creation, publishing, research and teaching thanks to the weaving of French and international partnerships.

L’guest of honor of this 2022 edition will be the director Jean-Jacques Annaud.
