With advance voting beginning Sunday and continuing Monday, the leaders of the five major parties begin the final sprint for the provincial election.

As this last week of the election campaign begins, the lecturer in the political science department at UQAM, André Lamoureux, indicated what challenges each aspiring prime minister faces in order to have a good evening on October 3.
Here is what each leader must do to get as many votes as possible:
Francois Legault
“I think his biggest challenge is getting back to the momentum he had before the leaders’ debates and avoiding missteps. »
Dominique Anglade
“His challenge is to be elected as a candidate in Saint-Henri-Sainte-Anne and do everything not to fall below 20% of the lanes with his party.”
Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois
“What he must do is prove and concretize his leadership by aiming for certain gains and above all by ensuring that there are no losses for Québec solidaire.”
Paul St-Pierre Plamondon
“The number one issue for him is to get elected and it is quite delicate in his situation, currently (…) He should aim for 10% of the votes.”
Eric Duhaime
“He must establish credibility that goes beyond the population who fought the health measures (…) To elect one or two deputies, that would be the goal for him.”
