Every Sunday brings its share of surprises in the program “Les Enfants de la télé”, masterfully directed by Laurent Ruquier on France 2. On the program for this September 25, many personalities who have come to defend their news and also share a their personal memories… Alongside Michèle Bernier, currently on stage in the play “I prefer that we stay together” with Olivier Sitruk at the Théâtre des Variétés, we also find the host Vincent Cerruti, the ex-Miss Malika Ménard , former footballer Dominique Rocheteau and… comedian Ahmed Sylla. In the show, as we know, everyone is entitled to their share of “pots” and unearthed videos from a more or less distant past. And the actor, soon to appear in “Twins but not too much”, has not, of course, escaped the rule! With a surprise he didn’t see coming!
“I had sent a necklace with perfume in it and a note”
First of all, a “magneto” sequence dating from 2002 announces the color: that year, Ahmed Sylla was twelve years old. And the singer Priscilla Betti is at the top of the charts with her title “Look at me”… the sequence presents her on a television set, performing her song, then in full glory. Why this retrospective? Well, quite simply, little Ahmed at the time was madly in love with the young singer! He even confesses to having sent him a small gift: “There were small magazines, with posters in them, with the addresses (of the stars, editor’s note). I had sent a necklace with perfume in it and a note”, confessed Ahmed Sylla who even confides that he is probably “still a little in love with her”. It was enough for Laurent Ruquier to offer his guest a nice surprise: Priscilla sending her fan a great message!
“Hello buddy! Did you tell everyone that I was your crush when I was little?”, Says the singer, now 33 years old. Then to add, delighted: “I am proud all the same, now all of France knows it. I wanted to give you lots of big kisses.” Visibly touched by this attention, the comedian struggles to find his words: “She is still as beautiful”, he pointed out … and to ask the host to pass on his answer: “Tell him that I love it!”. A beautiful love story that (re)starts?
