A Sunday in Larressore

We spend our Sunday morning in Larressore where we put our microphones. We are installed at the Aldaburua restaurant.
Larressore, Labourdin village located between Ustaritz, Jatxou, Halsou, Espelette, Cam les Bains and Itxassou. Its inhabitants are the larresoroar. This week, we put our microphones at the Aldaburua restaurant, where we welcomed, in addition to Sandra and Gillema from the restaurant, actors from the village, Claude, Cécile and Pantxin.

Aldaburua

Taken over 5 years ago, Aldaburua is a hotel-bar-restaurant that has revitalized the village and where you can eat fresh, local produce. The key word there is friendliness. There is the restaurant, but you can also go there to eat pintxo or a burger, they also offer pizzas. Also new is the wine cellar in which it is possible to welcome groups for tastings of good wine around a rib of beef.

Biltabila

Solidarity shop that raises funds for the Integrazio Batzordea association. Open every Friday and Saturday afternoon as well as the 4th Sunday of each month, in the morning. Created just before the first lockdown, this place is run solely by volunteers. You can find clothes, crockery, toys, books… furniture is offered, not necessarily on display, but offered for sale via their LeBoncoin or Vinted account.

Childcare music therapy

Cécile Garcia, passionate about music and helping people, decided a few years ago to combine the two to make it her job; she then became a music therapist. It offers plenty of workshops, for all ages, whether for toddlers, but also for teenagers and adults. There is also the possibility of using his services for pregnant women. She is also, to this day, the only childcare music therapist in France.
Do not hesitate to contact her for more information, 06 12 64 90 04, [email protected] yes via her Facebook page.

Heritage tour

Created by the municipality, the circuit proposes to go around all the rich monuments that make up the heritage of Larressore. Explanatory panels and stories are positioned in front of each remarkable building. All information at the town hall.
In particular, we pass in front of the chapel of the Larressore seminary, which, restored a few years ago, is truly a magnificent place. if you want to visit it, you have to go through the town hall to collect the keys in exchange for an identity document. The heritage circuit is open all year round and accessible to everyone.
