A dream and smooth start for Sluc Nancy Basket on the occasion of its return to the elite of French basketball. Sylvain Lautié’s players managed to dominate CSP Limoges in a white-hot sports hall (87-78).
This success, the Sluc owes in particular to a high-level start to the match since the Nancy were leading at half-time by 14 points (54-40). Logically, the CSP came back at the start of the second half until Vinales at the end of the match put the Sluc away.
Satisfaction on all points for Nancy coach Sylvain Lautié: “what a great match, what an atmosphere. It will go through things like that at home. It’s a real team win […] Congratulations to the boys who showed character. Last year, the first two games at 6,000 people, we lost them, I’m happy to have won tonight“.
No time to fall asleep for Nancy who will host Monaco on Tuesday for the second day.
