The “Péri’Meuh” agricultural fair returns this weekend to the Dordogne, but to Sarlat

This Friday, September 23 begins the fourth edition of “Péri’Meuh”, a large agricultural fair born in 2015 in the city center of Périgueux. After three editions and the election of Delphine Labails, the Town Hall of Périgueux has decided to postpone and then definitively bury the event. Luckily for the breeders who were afraid to see this event cancelled, the City of Sarlat has offered to host “Péri’Meuh”. The festivities begin this Friday in the city center of Sarlat

Limousin breed departmental competition

“Péri’Meuh” hosts the departmental competition of the Limousin breed, with around sixty oxen in the running. All weekend, we can see the sheepdogs at work in the town center of Sarlat with a herd of sheep led by a Périgord breeder.

No poultry for this first Sarladaise edition

No poultry producer is present for this edition, scalded by the violent epidemic of avian flu last season. A case has been identified among our neighbors in Gironde those last weeks.
