From the courthouse, Caroline Vigneaux went to the stage in a snap. Since 2008, the former lawyer has been laughing and does not intend to stop there after a period of forced rest during confinement with her two boys. Her life as a mom, the 47-year-old comedian had mentioned it during an interview for Paris Match in the midst of a health crisis. An interview during which she also confirmed that she was separated from the dad, with whom joint custody was set up.
In search of love, as she recently indicated in the Buzz-TV from Figaro, Caroline Vigneaux thought she had found it. Younger, the Nantaise fell in love with a man with whom she was ready to commit for life. Fate finally decided otherwise, transforming this beautiful story into “first heartbreak“: “I was to marry a boy and he left me to marry another. It was awful, but in the end it’s a blessing” she confided to Paris Match.
This sad twist did not prevent Caroline Vigneaux from flourishing in a family life. She rarely talks about it but she is completely gaga about her two children. And despite a daily life at 100 miles an hour, her sons remain her priority. If the period of confinement was not easy, she revealed that the latter still had her “save the life“: “I am at home with my children. I found a normal rhythm, less frantic. It made me crazy. My kids are happy too.“
Caroline Vigneaux had even specified that she had started meditation, a life-saving practice that allowed her to climb the slope: “I was on the verge of burnout. I was working so hard. I’ve been on the road for ten years, never stopping. Being off for a month was something I hadn’t experienced in ten years. I have never taken so many vacations. Besides, there is no guilt. Because before I took holidays but they offered me things and I accepted. During my last vacation I had to leave for ten days, but each time I said yes to programs. As a result, I only left for four days in Martinique. I couldn’t say no.” No doubt she would like to say ‘yes’ in other circumstances…
