Guillaume Genton unrecognizable in a tele-hook: amazing photos of him in his early days

We no longer present Guillaume Gentona key figure in Do not touch My TV. He has been an integral part of Cyril Hanouna’s band on C8 for two years. In addition to his thoughtful interventions which always make people react and his sense of debate, the columnist never fails to hold the attention thanks to to her ever more extravagant looks as each other. Neon colors, varnish on the nails, eccentric hair colors and always accompanied by small glasses with very dark lenses… there is no doubt that he has his own style and assumes it.

I’m my own stylist and I like to wear fun things. I find that dressing is a way of expressing oneself (…) I like this discrepancy because it is also a way of showing that we do not submit to normality“, he had also confided in an interview for TVMag. However, Guillaume Genton has not always defied normality. Indeed, in his early days, he was even a follower of sobriety and blended into the crowd. His very first TV appearances are there to prove it. Classic shirts worn under cardigans or V-neck sweaters, neatly combed and natural blond hair… the look of the producer who is in a relationship had nothing to do with that of today.

It was in this style that Jean-Marc Morandini discovered it at the time, when Guillaume Genton was only 18 years old. “In 2009, I am 18 years old, and I host this program on RBS in Strasbourg and Europe 1 is relocating there, I therefore meet Jean-Marc Morandini who then launches his Morandini Academy on Live 8“, he recalled for the magazine Technikart. It was then a tele-hook to find columnists and a springboard for the charming blond. “I was not taken but it allowed me to enter the middle of the production. The show being produced by Endemol, I started with them on reality TV, entertainment programs, as well as with TF1 Production. I learned all the professions of production : write subjects, edit them myself, do some mixing…“, he further explained.

With this experience, he was later able to start his own production company at the age of just 24. And today, aged 31, he can boast of having succeeded, being at the head of a fine fortune.
