At the end of the 14th day of National, Stade Lavallois lost at home 1-0 against Concarneau, a team just ahead in the standings. No goal was scored in the first period, mainly dominated in the game by the Finistériens.
The Laval residents were surprised at the start of the second half, conceding a corner. The sixth corner of Concarneau which brings the opening of the score through the central defender and captain Guillaume Jannez. Never by leading in the score, Stéphane Le Mignan’s team has lost this season. On the other hand, by being led, the Laval residents have already reversed a badly started situation, it was against Le Mans in September.
Concarneau reduced to 10
While the Laval reaction is long overdue, the Breton team sees one of its own leaving the field prematurely for a second yellow card (Tristan Boubaya 66 ‘). But the Tango have not really been able to take advantage of this numerical superiority even if the opportunities are a little more numerous (head of N’Chobi in particular in the 88th).
It’s the fourth home loss this season for Stade Lavallois, the third in four receptions. Laval who took only one point against the current first four teams in the championship (draw against Villefranche).
Note that Kevin Perrot, warned for the third time this season, will be suspended for the trip to Boulogne or the reception of Chambly.
In the standings, Stade Lavallois is 6th six points from the podium and third place occupied by Villefranche.
The reaction
The Laval coach, Olivier Frapolli, was necessarily disappointed with the result at the end of this meeting: “we came across a good team from Concarneau“.
