(Laval) A 29-year-old woman, who is considered the suspect in the hit and run that caused the death of a man last Thursday in Laval, was arrested Tuesday evening in Montreal.

The 53-year-old man succumbed to his injuries the day after the event, which occurred on the service road of Highway 15 North.
He reportedly had a collision with the suspect’s vehicle, which left the scene hitting the victim, in a possible case of road rage.
The suspect vehicle had been located earlier on Tuesday and the Service de police de Laval (SPL), with the assistance of the tactical intervention group of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) proceeded to arrest the suspicious around 7:30 p.m.
Two charges will be filed on Wednesday: hit and run causing death and manslaughter, said Sergeant Geneviève Major of the SPL.
The victim is Stéphane Taillon, confirmed his relatives on social networks.
