Dominique Anglade took advantage of a radio interview on Tuesday morning to appeal to the Liberals: “We have to wake up here! […] We need to come together to block François Legault. »
The Liberal leader was commenting on the most recent Léger poll conducted for Quebecor media, which suggests that 38% of respondents would vote for the Coalition avenir Québec (CAQ) on October 3.
Ms. Anglade said she saw instead that 62% of respondents do not want François Legault as prime minister.
” It is enormous. […] What I would like to see is that we are able to come together and block François Legault. Let’s be able to say to each other together: “It doesn’t make sense to see that”. It will end up with a huge number of seats and that’s not what the majority of Quebecers want, ”she insisted.
Ms. Anglade acknowledged that for the opposition parties, “roughly speaking, things are not moving”. According to the poll, the Liberal Party, Québec solidaire and the Conservative Party would end up tied with 16% of the voting intentions.
The Parti Québécois would bring up the rear with 13% of the voting intentions.
Dominique Anglade was the guest of Wknd 99.5, in Montreal. In attack mode, she was quick to comment on the poll, something she never does, she said.
