Grossing over $115,000 in its first three days in theaters, niagara is at the top of sales in more than 40 cinemas in Quebec.

“It’s a very encouraging start as we see that the word-of-mouth of the film is very positive, and that niagara appeals to a wide audience of all ages,” commented the film’s producer and distributor, Tim Ringuette, in a press release.

Starring François Pérusse, Éric Bernier and Guy Jodoin, niagara is the second feature film by author, actor and director Guillaume Lambert. Between drama and comedy, it tells the story of three brothers reuniting after the death of their father.
