France Bleu Breizh Izel in partnership with Ardoiz creates the event and organizes its tour of the markets to highlight short circuits and local know-how.
Meeting with the France Bleu Breizh Izel team in the heart of the Daoulas market, with a studio and a kitchen for two hours of live broadcast between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m..
Chef Yann Le Grand of Restaurant La Faïencerie in Daoulas is our guest to take up a challenge around local cuisine. With 30 euros, he will have to do his shopping and make a menu for 6 people. People present in the market are then invited to taste what the chef has prepared.
Yann LE GRAND lights his stove and sets the table to serve you in a renovated setting. The chef works with fresh, local products and offers a seasonal menu. While enjoying fine cuisine, you can enjoy the exhibitions of local artists.
Open Tuesday to Sunday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (closed on Mondays)
Daoulas MarketsFinistère is full of markets but that of Daoulas is one of the must-sees and undoubtedly makes the reputation of its town. What is the secret?
The Sunday market: A four-season market!
We arrive from everywhere on Sunday morning in Daoulas to enjoy the good humor of the faithful traders and their products with a thousand smells and flavors. A very present local culinary identity: direct sale of fish from Le Conquet or even oysters from the harbour, strawberries from Plougastel, artisanal cold meats and roast chickens, incomparable cheeses… But also a real touch of exoticism guaranteed: spices from all over the world, appetizing couscous, paellas or tartiflettes… A multicolored market, already immortalized in the 19th century by a painting by Eugène Boudin!
The market takes place on the Place Saint Yves all year round on Sunday mornings.
