A machete attack in Saint-Sauveur, near Luxeuil-les-Bains, in Haute-Saône. A couple argues in the night from Friday to Saturday, around two o’clock in the morning. Both are alcoholic. Wife then seizes a machete and deals several blows to his companion, arms and hip. The man was transported to Vesoul hospital and escaped with minor injuries.
Both are well known to law enforcement. Wife has been taken into custody and will be tried this Monday morning at the Vesoul court for attempted murder.
